Matt has worked as a commercial real estate advisor with CBRE in the Silicon Valley for over two decades, primarily representing occupiers across all asset types.
He has a proven track record of providing his clients with comprehensive insight and expertise in structuring successful transactions. Matt successfully negotiated Samsung’s 385,000 sq. ft. build-to-suit office lease, structured the transaction for Miltenyi Biotec’s highly improved 50,000 sq. ft. life science facility and helped XP Power establish its new North American headquarters in an 80,000 sq. ft. R&D building. He also worked with a well-known interactive fitness company to expand and manage their multi-million square foot supply chain in North America as they grew from a startup to global public company.
Matt is also deeply involved with the Silicon Valley’s rapidly evolving automotive and mobility industry. His work with top automotive producers such as Volkswagen and Toyota has led him to work on the development of a comprehensive vehicle testing and R&D center that will further the transportation innovation occurring in the San Francisco Bay Area. As currently designed, this project will total nearly 2,800 acres, including several miles of tracks and testing features and over 7 million sq. ft. of buildings.
Matt resides in Los Gatos, California with his wife and three children. He is a former NCAA Division I wrestler and a competitive wakeboard with an amateur world title to his name. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth sports, playing with his kids and getting out on the mountain bike.
