Nathan Powers is a Senior Vice President with CBRE’s Retail Services team in Wisconsin. Nathan joined CBRE in the summer of 2023 and brings fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate with a focus on land development, tenant / user representation, and portfolio management. Prior to joining CBRE, Nathan was a Principal at Cushman & Wakefield | BOERKE, and began his real estate career with Grubb & Ellis | Apex Commercial, now JLL.
Nathan partners with national and regional retailers, developers, and investors to deliver strategic real estate solutions across the country, with a focus on the Midwest. His expertise spans the full lifecycle of retail real estate—from site selection and acquisition to lease negotiation, dispositions, and long-term asset strategy.
In land development, Nathan provides end-to-end advisory services, helping clients navigate zoning, entitlements, financial feasibility, and development planning to unlock the full potential of retail sites. As a tenant representative, he has successfully executed market rollouts and site strategies for brands such as Burger King, CREW Car Wash, Arby’s, Jiffy Lube, Skechers, and Orange Theory Fitness.
Nathan also manages retail portfolios for individual investors, and family office clients, optimizing performance through proactive leasing, repositioning, and market analysis.
