Patrick Elwood is a Senior Vice President within CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services practice specializing in strategic real estate solutions for companies with multiple locations across the U.S. Holding a primary focus on suburban Chicago office occupier representation. Patrick’s main client base is comprised of executive level decision makers within large corporations and private business owners. Over a 13-year career at CBRE, Patrick has successfully completed over 600 transactions valued at over $700 million and encompassing 4 million square feet. Recognized for delivering exceptional results through a deep understanding of market dynamics, strong relationships with landlords and other commercial real estate leasing professionals, and a consistent leading market share of ongoing active projects.
Prior to CBRE, Patrick worked at Bank of America in their Commercial Real Estate Lending group underwriting a portfolio of loan transactions. Through his past position, Patrick had the opportunity to work with clients such as Hamilton Partners, McShane Development and Heitman.
Early on in his career this role allowed him to grasp the fundamentals of the capital markets/investment sales and financing niche within commercial real estate. Patrick’s ability to integrate this financial and qualitative information into a company’s real estate strategy has made him a valuable resource and a trusted advisor to his clients.
