Paul Hawtin is responsible for leading the People organization globally and enabling People practices in support of the strategic direction of the company. His responsibilities include oversight of Centers of Excellence including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Talent Management, Total Rewards and People Operations, as well as People Business Partner teams supporting more than 120,000 employees across the company.
Prior to assuming this role in April 2024, Mr. Hawtin was Global Head of People for Advisory Services and Corporate Functions. He was responsible for leading People initiatives that support the company’s strategic direction and facilitating end-to-end HR service delivery globally, including talent acquisition and development, total rewards, performance management and succession planning. He worked closely with the CBRE leadership to ensure the people function delivers the people needs of the business.
With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Hawtin has extensive HR expertise and experience. Since joining the company’s UK Advisory business in 2015, he has worked in a variety of leadership roles across all geographies.
Prior to CBRE, Mr. Hawtin held senior international HR positions at global companies, including Balfour Beatty, Vodafone PLC and BAE Systems.
He holds an MBA from the London School of Business and Finance in England, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). He also has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Central Lancashire in England.
