Peter Schippits

Pete Schippits is Group President, East Region for CBRE's U.S. & Canada Advisory Services business. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the company's Advisory Services geographic markets across the U.S. East, excluding New York.

Previously, he served as a Group President for the West Region and as President of CBRE's Mountain-Northwest Division, overseeing the firm's Advisory Services business.

Based in Denver, Pete joined CBRE as Colorado’s Market Leader, responsible for overseeing all business lines across five Front Range offices. In total, Pete nearly doubled the firm’s local talent base, surpassing 1,000 Colorado-based employees in 2018.

Prior to joining CBRE, Pete was a Managing Director of Investor Services at JLL where he focused on growing the firm’s Agency Leasing, Property Management, Industrial and Capital Markets businesses. Recognized as one of the state’s most successful office leasing experts, he leased assets comprising more than 11 million square feet for over 20 different institutional owners, including some of Denver’s most iconic office towers.

Before JLL, Pete was a practicing attorney in real estate, business and tax planning for Gelt & Grassgreen P.C., a boutique tax law firm in Denver.
