Rachel Brooks

Rachel Brooks is a Director, Property and Transaction Tax Services of the Valuation and Advisory Services. Located in the Tyson’s Corner, Rachel has over 20 years of property tax and real estate valuation experience in the Eastern US, with her primary experience in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.

She is responsible for developing, leading and managing the Mid-Atlantic. Since 2008, Rachel has been in real property tax advocacy. Prior to joining CBRE, Rachel was a Manager with the Altus Group in mid-Atlantic Region. Rachel is a Certified General Appraiser and has focused her work on multifamily, office and retail properties along the east coast. Rachel has saved taxpayers millions of dollars in property taxes through assessment appeals and managing property taxes and compliance matters for taxpayers.

Rachel’s strong interpersonal skills and focus on communication and relationship building which assists CBRE’s national property tax practice with not just local jurisdictional connections but also regional and national connections as well.
