Randal Dawson, MAI, FRICS, CRE, NACD.DC

With over 30 years of experience in real estate valuations, tax appeals, and counseling, Randal specializes in the valuation of commercial and special-use properties, focusing on industrial, retail, and multifamily properties, as well as hospitals, healthcare facilities, and readapted real estate uses. Randal conducts highest and best-use studies, feasibility studies, mass appraisals, and real estate valuations. Throughout the country, Randal has prepared and reviewed valuation and feasibility studies for various purposes, including litigation support, ad valorem, condemnation, trust and estate matters, family law, financial reporting, conventional financing, bond financing, fair rental studies, data centers, movie studios, telecommunications, and insurance.

As a qualified expert witness, Randal has testified nationwide in federal, state, and local jurisdictions on various litigation cases, including insurance claims, shareholder disputes, bankruptcy, tax appeals, divorce, IRS tax disputes, condemnation, and diminution in value related to historic preservation and conservation easements. Randal is the National Litigation Support & Dispute Analysis Practice Leader and leads the Consulting Practice for CBRE, Inc. Midwest Region. Randal holds the CRE designation from the Counselors of Real Estate, the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, the FRICS designation from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and the NACD Directorship Certification from the National Association of Corporate Directors.
