Raquel Hwang

Raquel Hwang is an associate in CBRE's Atlanta Retail Services Group, where she specializes in landlord representation. Her experience spans a diverse range of properties, including mixed-use, lifestyle, and urban new developments such as Ashford Lane, Hillcrest, Alpharetta Market District, and Midtown Union. Raquel's portfolio also includes freestanding buildings, outparcels, and land. In addition to her work with landlords, she provides site selection and expansion services for national, regional, and local tenants throughout Georgia.

Before joining CBRE, Raquel spent two years as a leasing agent for Saglo Companies' Atlanta portfolio, where she focused on Class B and C value-add shopping centers. She quickly made her mark by achieving 100% occupancy for the entire portfolio within her first 16 months.

Originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Raquel was a national champion junior tennis player who represented her country in various prestigious international tournaments as part of the National Tennis Team. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of North Florida, where she attended on a four-year tennis scholarship. She later earned a Master's degree in International Real Estate from FIU, gaining extensive knowledge in property valuation, investment analysis, and corporate asset management. Before transitioning to commercial real estate, Raquel was a residential real estate agent and a member of the Florida and Georgia REALTOR associations.
