Raquel Hwang

Raquel Hwang is an Associate in CBRE's Atlanta Retail Services Group, specializing in Landlord Representation for both local and institutional owners, with a primary focus on anchor and power centers. Her past experience spans a diverse range of asset types, including mixed-use, lifestyle, and urban developments. Raquel's expertise further extends to new development projects and the acquisition and disposition of freestanding buildings, outparcels, and land.

Before joining CBRE, Raquel spent two years as a leasing agent for Saglo Companies' Atlanta portfolio, where she focused on leasing Class B and C value-add shopping centers. She quickly made her mark by achieving 100% occupancy for the entire portfolio within her first 16 months.

Originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Raquel was a national champion junior tennis player who represented her country in various prestigious international tournaments as part of the National Tennis Team. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of North Florida, where she attended on a four-year tennis scholarship. She later earned a Master's degree in International Real Estate from FIU, gaining extensive knowledge in property valuation, investment analysis, and corporate asset management. Before transitioning to commercial real estate, Raquel was a residential real estate agent and a member of the Florida REALTOR association.
