Rebecca Barton

Rebecca Barton serves as the Senior Operations Analyst in the Property Management division of CBRE’s Salt Lake City office. She currently manages 1.5 million square feet of industrial product. Rebecca serves as the link between the owner and tenants resolving any needs and concerns to ensure favorable tenant retention. She is directly responsible for the day to day operations of the buildings, vendor contract management, insurance coverage, tenant relations and improvements, project management, financial reports, annual budgeting, fiscal planning and operating expense reconciliations. She stays actively involved with ownership, leasing agents and tenants to ensure that proper resources are applied to accurately address tenant needs while also maintaining the long-term value of the property.

Rebecca began her real estate career more than 10 years ago within CBRE’s accounting department. She quickly moved into the role of Senior Property Accountant, Assistant Controller overseeing property management accounting. This encompassed all client accounting of our Salt Lake and Albuquerque offices, as well as assisting with corporate accounting. In this role, Rebecca managed three staff accountants and reviewed financials for over 40 properties. Due to a consolidation of CBRE’s accounting practices, Rebecca transitioned to the Property Management Team in 2009. Rebecca has experience in several property management software programs including, MRI, Yardi, JD Edwards, Skyline, Timberline and PeopleSoft.
