Rich Greene is a Senior Production Analyst for CBRE. He has been affiliated with CBRE’s affiliate Omaha office since 2006, serving originally as a consultant and then head of in its Portfolio Advisory Services Division. Rich’s primary expertise is in the analysis and structuring of office and multi-family property investments, tax credits, project-based incentives, and financing matters.

Rich provides real estate transactional support to both brokerage and property management divisions here at CBRE, asset management oversight, financial analysis services, asset evaluation and repositioning, cost segregation studies, property valuation protests, and related assistance to our clients.

Rich also has extensive experience with the development, syndication and on-going compliance related to affordable housing and historic renovation developments. Rich has been involved in structuring and analysis of several properties qualifying under IRC §42 Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and the IRC §47 Historic Tax Credit programs, advising owners and developers on qualification and compliance, as well as optimization of tax credit equity proceeds. In addition, Rich has worked with local government agencies to secure project-based incentives, including tax increment financing (TIF), and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.

Rich is an innovative leader with significant experience in entrepreneurial environments and start-up ventures. His prior professional experience also includes building a start-up venture into a regionally recognized niche real estate developer with completion over a dozen projects valued at over $25 million. Rich graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law and has earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
