Rob Hinton joined CBRE as Senior Vice President – Tenant Representation Services and is a member of CBRE’s highly regarded international Law Firm Practice Group, an exclusive group of specialists established to address the unique needs of the legal industry. Rob’s real estate career spans over a 20-year period where he has been instrumental in the strategy and implementation of real estate objectives and plans for corporate clients and professional service firms locally in Charlotte and throughout the Southeast.
Rob’s experience has been multi-faceted. From small high-tech start-ups to prestigious international law firms he understands that business issues must drive real estate decisions. His success lies in his ability to anticipate a client’s needs rather than reacting to circumstance. Often he is called upon to provide anecdotal evidence of transactional savings and efficiencies in very complex transactions to C-Suite level executives and managing partners of very demanding corporations and private partnerships. It is in this capacity that Rob, by way of precedence and proof, is most comfortable and confident. Rob represents the interests of the “end user” and his responsibilities have included strategic planning and portfolio analysis, lease negotiations and restructuring or mitigation, consultation, site selection, infrastructure costs and financial analysis, municipality incentive identification and post occupancy service.
