Robert Bond is an Associate with CBRE’s Institutional Development Advisors team, specializing in residential development land sales and advisory services throughout Southern California. He advises institutional owners, homebuilders, developers, family offices, and investors on the disposition, valuation, and redevelopment of residential land opportunities, including entitled sites, covered land plays, multifamily, build-torent, student housing, and senior housing developments.

Prior to joining CBRE, Robert spent nearly four years in land acquisition and underwriting with Risewell Homes (formerly The New Home Company), where he sourced, underwrote, and helped close approximately 700 residential lots totaling nearly $390 million in consideration. This experience provides him with a unique developer-oriented perspective and deep expertise in land valuation, feasibility analysis, and development underwriting.

Robert is particularly experienced in identifying residential redevelopment opportunities within underutilized retail, office, and industrial properties, leveraging his understanding of entitlement strategies, Housing Element implementation, and evolving California housing policy. Known for his analytical approach, responsiveness, and straightforward advice, he helps clients uncover value, navigate complex development considerations, and execute successful transactions.

Robert holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Chapman University, a California Real Estate Broker License, and serves on the Young Executive Advisory Council for the Alexander E. Hayden School of Real Estate.
