Robert Bonicoro is a Senior Vice President with CBRE’s Retail Advisory & Transaction Services Group. Robert draws on his business background, as well as his innovative mindset, to strategize and deliver successful results for his clients while minimizing their real estate risk.
Robert provides tenant representation services to clients throughout the New York City Metro Market. While his focus is business development in that region, CBRE’s global platform of services provides him with the resources and tools necessary to help regional, national and international clients meet their multi-market requirements. In the last five years, Robert has closed more than $500 million in transaction volume on behalf of his clients.
In addition to serving traditional retailers Robert also represents multiple service-oriented tenants including Mount Sinai, One Medical, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, McDonalds, and KinderCare Education. Robert has recently completed over 50 Health & Wellness, Food & Beverage and Education transactions in New York City. One of his recent notable transactions was on behalf of Market Lane for its 10,977 square foot lease at Westfield’s World Trade Center site.
Earlier on in Robert’s career, he was the leasing agent for prominent property owners such as Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, Mitsui Fudosan, Northwood Investors, and Silverstein Properties. Among his notable agency-side transactions, Mr. Bonicoro completed the 26,190-square-foot Nordstrom’s/Trunk Club lease at 457 Madison Avenue, the “Mansion on Madison”, on behalf of Northwood Investors.
Prior to joining CBRE, Robert was the Director of Sales and managed a team of 18 at Sun Space Design, a design-build firm located near Chicago. Prior to that, Robert was a proprietor of his own creative services/commercial photography studio in New York City.
