Based in CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office, Ryan Alexander is a Vice Chairman (Honorary Title) with the firm’s Advisory & Transaction Services Group. Focusing on new business development, he develops solutions for local, national and global real estate requirements for some of New York’s most significant corporate occupiers and owners of many of the city’s iconic properties.
With a deep understanding of the challenges his occupier clients face, Ryan represents a wide range of industries primarily focusing on venture capital, financial services and technology firms in lease acquisitions and space dispositions throughout New York, the U.S. and across the globe. He leverages his personal experience in the tech/venture capital universe to offer his clients clear real estate strategies, resources and relationships to help their businesses thrive and grow. Recent tenant rep transactions include an 80,000-sq.-ft. lease for TD Securities at 22 Vanderbilt Avenue and more than 200,000 sq. ft. of transactions for a confidential Multinational Investment Bank and Financial Services company over the past 12 months including ~120,000 sq. ft. of expansion space at 1 Bryant Park.
Ryan is also an experienced landlord/owner’s representative and has been deeply involved in multiple game-changing properties in the New York real estate market. He is one of the leaders of the 8 million-sq.-ft. Hudson Yards leasing team with notable tenants such as a confidential Technology Conglomerate (1.3M sq. ft.), BlackRock (800,000 sq. ft.), Point72 300,000+ sq. ft. and the extraordinary One Vanderbilt, which encompasses more than 1.3 million sq. ft. Significant landlord rep assignments include the recent 70,024-sq.-ft. renewal of Standard Chartered Bank at 1095 Avenue of the Americas, 237,000 sq. ft. for ROKU at 5 Times Square on behalf of RXR/SL Green, and a 174,000-sq.-ft. lease to Dechert at 3 Bryant Park.

He is a 8-time recipient of the Colbert Coldwell Circle Award, which recognizes CBRE’s top producers—and was honored to be 2023’s Top Office Broker.
