Ryan Gay

Ryan M. Gay, MAI is a senior level appraiser and the Louisiana market leader for CBRE's Valuation & Advisory Services (VAS) group. He has been involved in commercial real estate appraisal for over 15 years with experience providing real estate appraisals, consultations, rent analyses, and market studies. Mr. Gay is well versed in litigation support and has been qualified as an expert witness in multiple courts. Additionally, he has tax appeal consulting experience representing clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. His primary geographical location is the New Orleans MSA but has valuation experience across Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Mr. Gay oversees the New Orleans VAS office, managing and training a team of appraisers and trainees.

Mr. Gay’s experience encompasses a wide variety of asset classes primarily consisting of office, industrial, retail, and multifamily. Property type experience includes: land/bulk acreage, batture acreage, commercial land/subdivisions, agricultural land, timber land, medical and professional offices, specialized medical facilities (surgical, imaging, etc.), specialty hospitals, acute care hospitals, multifamily residential (conventional, affordable, age-restricted, etc.), retail centers, net leased assets, standalone retail properties, restaurants, mixed-use (retail/multi-family residential, etc.), industrial facilities, heavy manufacturing facilities, cold storage facilities, food processing facilities, health clubs, full service and express tunnel car washes, self-storage facilities, parking garages, auto dealerships, c-stores/gas stations, single-family residential subdivisions, various special purpose properties, schools, nightclubs/pubs, nursing homes/assisted living facilities, daycares/learning centers, airport parking facilities, and an array of historic property conversions.
