Ryan Kasten serves as the Market Leader and Senior Managing Director for Central Texas. In this role, he is responsible for business operations and strategic direction for the company’s Advisory Services business lines, including leasing, sales, valuations, debt and structured finance and property management. Kasten oversees a team of over 200 employees across Austin, El Paso and San Antonio who provide creative solutions and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients with local, national and global real estate requirements.
With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Kasten is highly regarded for his unparalleled market knowledge and ability to shape winning team cultures. Before joining CBRE, Kasten was Partner and Managing Director for Partners Real Estate, overseeing the firm’s brokerage services in Austin and San Antonio. Prior to that, he spent eight years in Cushman & Wakefield’s Austin office, most recently as Managing Principal for the firm’s Austin and San Antonio markets where he increased the company’s revenue and market share along all service lines. Earlier in his tenure at C&W, he was the firm’s Executive Director of Tenant Rep, representing prominent office users in over 5 million sq. ft. of transactions across Texas and globally.
