Sarah Cooley is Managing Director of Advisory Services and the Southern Virginia Market Leader, responsible for overseeing business operations and driving growth across CBRE’s Richmond and Norfolk offices. She leads integrated strategies across all service lines, helping clients achieve their real estate goals through operational excellence and platform optimization.
Sarah’s background in sales management, training, and business development informs her collaborative leadership style and her ability to implement process improvements that drive performance. Prior to her current role, she served as Senior Sales Director for the Mid-Atlantic, where she led a high-performing team focused on broker enablement and strategic growth. She was recognized with CBRE’s Operational Excellence Award in 2018 for her contributions to platform efficiency and client service.
Before joining CBRE in 2011, Sarah worked at Courtesy Associates, where she managed government event planning and organized conferences for PEPFAR. Earlier in her career, she spent time in advertising and magazine publishing in New York.
Sarah is a passionate mentor and advocate for developing the next generation of real estate professionals. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia and resides in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband and two sons.
