Sarah Friedfeld is a member of CBRE’s Public Institutions & Education Solutions practice, leading business development activities and supporting the implementation of resulting assignments across the United States. With a background in international development consulting, project management, and US federal government contracting, Sarah brings a keen eye for detail, process, and strategy for accomplishing complex tasks.

At CBRE, Sarah supports the implementation of assignments ranging from development advisory, strategic planning, brokerage and other associated real estate services to government entities and education institutions nationwide. She leads and writes proposals for public sector clients, focusing on diagnosing client needs and identifying solutions across the CBRE platform. Her approach includes interviews, research, and analysis to ensure that our proposed solutions deliver exceptional outcomes for taxpayers and public entities. Since joining CBRE, Sarah has delivered winning proposals for the City of Oakland, State of California, State of Tennessee, Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, Arlington County, and Austin Community College District, among others.

Prior to joining CBRE, Sarah was the Business Development Manager for the largest team within AECOM’s International Development practice. In this role, she managed the development and refinement of a multi-hundred million USAID-funded proposal pipeline, and led the preparation of complex proposals in the fields of energy sector development, agriculture, and water across 11 countries. Her project management experience includes a $56 million project in Afghanistan supporting the reconciliation and digitization of millions of property records in Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, and Kunduz, winning and implementing a procurement capacity study in Haiti immediately following the 2010 earthquake, and supporting a procurement services project in Mozambique.
