Scott joined CBRE in 2006 with the acquisition of Trammell Crow Company, continuing in his general manager role overseeing Wells Fargo Plaza. As an Associate Director for CBRE, Scott also assists local market leadership by providing supervision and guidance to professionals within the region. Since 1989 he has built a career of progressive property management experience in the commercial real estate industry with leading firms in Houston.
- Wells Fargo Plaza located at 1000 Louisiana, Houston, Texas rises 71 stories or 992 feet above Houston’s Central Business District, and contains 1.72 million rentable square feet making it Houston’s largest office building and one of the tallest in the United States and the world.
- Developed and implemented a Repositioning plan incorporating significant operational and capital improvements for Wells Fargo Plaza to overcome leasing challenges. Projects were designed to brand, position, and differentiate this trophy asset with a unique identity, signifying status and value to existing and prospective tenants. Accentuation of property strengths, creation of new and innovative service levels, and resolution of recognized competitive weaknesses were successfully leveraged to achieve leasing success and increase value.

- Successfully implemented numerous energy savings projects resulting in multiple Energy Star Awards and LEED Certification.
- Extensive operating expense control and management experience including advising owners on impact of hurricane damage and negotiating a multiple year operating expense recovery escalation audit with an anchor tenant resulting in a profit to the building owner.
