Scott Siemens, MAI, ASA is a Vice President / National Practice Leader (Agriculture Valuation) with 18 years of real property appraisal and consulting experience. He is in the Valuation & Advisory Services’ Minneapolis office. Prior to joining CBRE in 2013, Mr. Siemens was Vice President of the Commercial Division at The Appraisal Group in the Twin Cities. He has completed assignments in Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Montana, Michigan, Virginia, Missouri, Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Mississippi, Arkansas, Idaho, Washington, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, and Oregon. His geographical focus is the states of Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Mr. Siemens holds the Appraisal Institute’s MAI designation, as well as the American Society of Appraisers’ ASA designation in Real Property (RP). He is a 2018 CBRE RISE award winner and a 2017 CBRE Cornerstone award winner. He is also part of CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services’ Agriculture Practice, in which he is the National Practice Leader.
Mr. Siemens’ primary appraisal experience has been in the fee preparation of real property appraisals. His experience encompasses a wide variety of property types, including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, religious and educational facilities, and other special purpose properties; however, his primary focus in recent years has centered around agricultural property appraisal, both production and agri-industrial.
