Mr. Shane T. Lovelady, MAI, CCIM, joined CBRE Valuation & Advisory Services as a Senior Vice President based in the Birmingham, Alabama office, part of the firm's Southeast Division. Mr. Lovelady serves as the lead for behavioral healthcare valuations and advisory services, providing a diverse client base with thoughtful, client-focused solutions that support informed real estate and investment decisions.
With more than 20 years of real estate valuation and consulting experience, Mr. Lovelady has advised financial institutions, healthcare operators, investors, attorneys, insurance companies, and other stakeholders across a broad range of property types and valuation assignments. His expertise includes behavioral health facilities, medical office buildings, ambulatory surgery centers, senior housing assets, multifamily communities, office properties, retail centers, industrial facilities, and development sites.
Mr. Lovelady is recognized for delivering responsive service, market insight, and practical solutions tailored to each client's specific needs. His experience includes assignments involving proposed developments, partially completed projects, renovated facilities, and existing improvements, as well as consulting engagements such as market studies, feasibility analyses, market rent studies, highest and best use analyses, and going-concern valuations.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Lovelady held senior valuation and leadership positions with nationally recognized real estate advisory firms, where he developed extensive experience in healthcare and commercial real estate valuation throughout the United States. His specialized knowledge of behavioral health and healthcare real estate makes him a trusted advisor to owners, operators, lenders, and investors.
