In September 2018, CBRE Group, Inc. (NYSE: CBRE) acquired CB Richard Ellis-N.E. Partners, L.P. (CBRE/New England), a long-standing joint venture with Whittier Partners Group and the leading full-service commercial real estate services operation in New England.
Mr. Carroll is responsible for a 1,200,000 SF portfolio of office and retail properties in the Seaport district of Boston, Massachusetts. His general duties include creating an annual business plan, preparing monthly/quarterly reports to the ownership group, monitoring all rent collections, controlling expenses, tenant relations, assisting our brokerage team in all leasing efforts within the portfolio, monitoring all capital improvement and tenant improvement project management work. He also is responsible for coordinating with various vendors and internal personnel to assure the upkeep, cleanliness, safety and overall marketability of the property.
In addition, Mr. Carroll is personally responsible for managing the on-site engineering staff of nine, who maintain all the mechanical equipment, respond to tenant operational issues and assist in the daily upkeep of the property. He also oversees the management staff responsible for maintaining a 23-acre site that includes new construction, landscaping and snow removal in an urban setting, private transportation and public events planning.
Recent accomplishments include the 100% lease-up of One Marina Park Drive, the onboarding of Goodwin Proctor, a 370,000 RSF tenant to 100 Northern Avenue, a USGBC LEED Gold for Existing Building O&M designation in 2015 for ONE Marina Park Drive, BOMA Boston High-rise Property Manager of the Year in 2015, and BOMA Boston The Office Building of the Year in 2016.
Mr. Carroll joined CBRE/NE in 1999. He previously worked at Automatic Data Processing (ADP) from 1997-1999.
