Shellie Jaksen

Shellie Jaksen is an appraiser with over 30 years of real estate and consulting experience. Ms. Jaksen is in the Valuation & Advisory Services Group’s Detroit (Southfield) office in the North Central Region. Her primary geographical location is the state of Michigan and northern Ohio. Ms. Jaksen is a member of the retail/medical office team, which concentrates on the appraisal of retail properties including regional malls, power centers, neighborhood/community centers and single tenant net leased assets as well as medical properties including hospitals, surgical centers, and medical office buildings. Ms. Jaksen has extensive experience with multiple special use properties providing appraisal, consultations and rent analysis reports.

Ms. Jaksen’s experience encompasses a wide variety of existing as well as proposed commercial properties including; shopping centers, general retail facilities, malls, mixed use developments, restaurants, hospitals, surgical centers, medical and general office buildings, single tenant net leased assets, vacant land, industrial, multi-family residential assets, subdivisions, funeral homes, independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hotels and motels.

Prior to joining CBRE in 2017, Ms. Jaksen was an appraiser at Integra Realty Resources in Birmingham, MI for 10 years and at Richard Hanton & Associates in Troy, MI for 10 years prior to that.
