Sherrie Stewart serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Government & Defense Services, Healthcare, and Infrastructure & Energy sectors. In this role, she leads the delivery of resilient real estate and asset management solutions across the portfolio. Her focus is on enabling clients to plan, build, and manage complex global portfolios while ensuring operational continuity and strategic advantage. Sherrie oversees a global team that supports integrated service delivery and drives consistent, reliable performance across high stakes environments.
With more than 18 years of experience in commercial real estate and enterprise operations, Sherrie has a proven record of building high-performing teams and strengthening operational frameworks that improve consistency, efficiency, and client outcomes.
Prior to her current role, Sherrie served as Senior Vice President of Global Transitions for CBRE’s GWS business. She led large, multinational transition programs, driving long term value through structured governance, risk mitigation, and disciplined change management practices. Additionally, as COO of CBRE’s Healthcare sector, Sherrie oversaw operational excellence initiatives and aligned key functional partners across Facilities Management, Project Management, Regulatory, HSE, Energy & Sustainability, Procurement, and Digital & Technology to improve performance and service delivery.
Throughout her career, Sherrie has managed enterprise level outsourcing portfolios spanning Facilities Management, Project Management, Transaction Management, and Strategic Consulting. Her responsibilities have included full P&L oversight, talent development, client engagement, and the rollout of standardized best practices. Her global experience across Canada, Latin America, APAC, EMEA, and India gives her a deep understanding of diverse operational requirements and environments.
