Steffen Kammerer

Steffen Kammerer is Executive Managing Director, overseeing CBRE’s Advisory Services across Northern California and Reno. He leads more than 600 professionals across 10 regional offices, including San Francisco, San Jose, Walnut Creek, Oakland, Palo Alto, Burlingame, Sacramento, Roseville, Reno and Stockton, and is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the firm’s leasing, sales, debt and structured finance, valuation and property management services in the region.

He also oversees CBRE’s Advisory business in the San Jose, Palo Alto and Burlingame offices, where he manages brokerage professionals and multiple lines of business in order to provide strategic solutions and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients with local, national and global real estate requirements.

Having built and managed successful cross-platform teams, Steffen’s ability to leverage a broad platform has enabled him to win and grow business. Prior to joining CBRE, Steffen was the Regional Managing Director at Colliers, overseeing brokerage services for the San Francisco Bay Area. He led business pursuits, recruitment initiatives as well as adoption and growth of the firm’s platform offerings.

Before Colliers, he spent more than a decade in tenant representation at JLL, where he led its national technology practice. Before entering the real estate industry, Steffen worked as a computer programmer. His background as a technologist and experience developing emerging technologies, combined with his success as a real estate broker, give him a unique understanding of CBRE’s clients and the keys to success in the region.
