With over 20 years of experience, Steven Chon has established a track record of delivering exceptional solutions for corporate clients and investors. His expertise expands globally, focused on the Silicon Valley, North America, and Asia Pacific regions. Steven executes complex real estate transactions and portfolio management projects. His clients call upon him for projects related to site selection, lease/sale negotiations, property dispositions, and strategic planning for organizations of all sizes.
From startups to some of the largest conglomerates in the world, he advises clients on establishing corporate headquarters, research and development centers, manufacturing sites, and distribution/logistics hubs in domestic and international markets. His previous work consulting in East Asia and the United States lends him a unique understanding, which allows him to bridge various cultural and geographic gaps while ensuring seamless cross-border transactions.
Steven serves a group of high-performing individuals as the co-leader of CBRE’s Korea Desk North America (KDNA), a specialty practice group within CBRE. His team leverages the world's #1 commercial real estate platform to deliver best-in-class services for companies across multiple continents. Steven is also a member of the Asian Business Network (ABN) and actively mentors the next generation of Asian American real estate professionals. He’s fluent in English and Korean. He enjoys ocean and black bass fishing while traveling with his family in his free time.
