Thomas Haughton is a Vice President (Honorary Title) based in CBRE’s Miami office where he focuses on representing companies on the planning and execution of creative real estate solutions that are tailored to align precisely with his client’s business objectives. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, financial analysis, occupancy cost reduction, corporate HQ site selection, and negotiation of complex lease acquisitions, dispositions and restructurings.
Thomas leverages his background as a CPA, strong analytical skills, high ethical standards, and passion for client service to deliver truly distinctive and exceptional results for his clients. He has successfully advised on and implemented transactions on behalf of financial services, insurance, technology, media, non-profit, and fashion/apparel companies on a local and national basis.
Before relocating his family back to South Florida where he grew up, Thomas spent six years in CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office working with some of the commercial real estate industry’s most prominent and talented professionals. The big market experience, sophistication and perspective he brings to the table continues to benefit his clients on every project and assignment.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2014, Thomas spent the first five years of his career at PwC as a consultant in the M&A Advisory Practice based in New York City. In this role, he was a key member of the team, conducting financial due diligence for both financial and strategic buyers in various industries, with transactions ranging from $100 million to more than $1 billion in size. Notable clients while at PwC included Apollo Global Management, Centerbridge Partners, JPMorgan, AXA and CommonFund. Thomas maintains his Certified Public Account (CPA) License and is a Level III CFA Candidate.
