Tom Lloyd is Executive Managing Director of Property Management for the Americas. He is responsible for establishing and leading the strategic direction of the CBRE Americas property management business, as well as driving growth and progress nationally with a direct responsibility for performance in the Americas East region.
Previously, Tom was Senior Managing Director of Investor Services in the New York City market and a recipient of the prestigious CBRE US Market Leader of the Year Award and the Real Estate Board of New York Management Executive of the Year Award. As the local head of Investor Services in New York, Tom headed commercial property management and represented several CBRE lines of business for a $30 billion client portfolio of local and global investors of office, retail and industrial assets. Tom and his team partnered with CBRE business line leaders and dealmakers to sell, manage and lease assets that were acquired and owned by investors, developers, private equity firms, lenders, REIT’s and pension funds.
With more than 25 years of management experience, Tom has extensive experience working with property owners, JV partnerships, special servicers and institutional investors. Tom has a keen focus on maximizing investor asset value by unlocking hidden revenues and restructuring operating costs at the asset level.
Prior to joining CBRE, Tom was Senior Director at Tishman Speyer, where he was responsible for the daily management of a $21 billion Class A office portfolio in the Northeastern U.S. including iconic assets such as New York’s Rockefeller Center, the Chrysler Building and the MetLife Building.
Mr. Lloyd graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego and holds finance and real estate professional certifications from New York University. He is a director on several industry association Boards in New York City, including Real Estate Board of New York and the Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations.
