Tom Sterling is a leader in real estate management with a diverse and successful background in strategic planning, operational and financial management, process improvement and team leadership.  Currently, Tom is a Director at a major software and technology client in Redmond Washington. He manages the Global Energy and Sustainability program which includes the delivery of strategic planning, regional setting, portfolio-wide reporting, technology deployments and related change management.  In addition, he has a deep background in corporate financial planning and reporting with multiple Fortune 500 Companies.  This includes understanding all corporate and business unit goals and drivers, detailed financial forecasting, analysis and reporting.

He brings depth of knowledge in global programs, strategy, project management, portfolio analysis, team leadership and building relationships across complex organizations.  Tom has led several global initiatives to improve performance and client outcomes that benefit partners and clients with innovative solutions that increase productivity.  He is comfortable working with all levels of an organization in various cultural settings.


Director - responsible for the Global Energy and Sustainability program including delivery of strategy and team leadership in goal setting, performance management, portfolio reporting and technology solutions.  Align real estate strategy with corporate goals and programs.


Strategic Planner – built and led global utility reporting and carbon accounting program, managed matrixed organization for LEED Platinum Certification Projects, liaison with corporate environmental team.


National Facilities Program Manager - strategic facility management programs, business line relationship management, process improvement and service provider performance management across all facility programs.

Finance Manager – managed team accountable for finances of $1.0 billion division, process improvement for large department operations, liaison with senior management and presentations to executives.
