Tony Coglianese is a Senior Vice President at CBRE and a recognized leader in Chicago's commercial real estate and business community. As a senior member of CBRE's Occupier Leasing Services platform and co-leader of the firm's Chicago Tech and Digital Media Practice, Tony has distinguished himself through high-stakes execution, strategic judgment, and a consistent ability to deliver for clients navigating critical decisions.
Over the course of his career, Tony has advised on over $5 billion in commercial real estate transactions totaling nearly 30 million square feet, including the two largest corporate headquarters relocations in Chicago over the past decade and the largest cryptocurrency office lease in the city's history. His work consistently aligns real estate strategy with broader business objectives, helping clients optimize cost structures, support workforce growth, and position themselves competitively within Chicago's evolving market.
As co-leader of the Chicago Tech and Digital Media Practice, Tony has helped shape CBRE's approach to serving high-growth technology companies, delivering advisory solutions tailored to hybrid work strategies, talent attraction, and cultural alignment. Having partnered with companies from their earliest stages through periods of rapid growth into billion-dollar enterprises, Tony brings a perspective on corporate real estate strategy that few advisors in the market can match.
Tony's leadership has been recognized both internally and externally. He was named CBRE Chicago's Rookie of the Year at 27, the firm's top first-year producer across all 12 business lines and has since built one of the most productive teams within CBRE's Occupier Advisory Group. In 2026, he was named an Emerging Leader by both the Illinois Real Estate Journal and the Greater Chicago Food Depository Commercial Real Estate Awards.
Beyond his client practice, Tony is deeply engaged in Chicago's business and civic community. He is co-founder of ChiTechIRL, a networking community connecting the city's most prominent founders, operators, and investors, and is an active angel investor and limited partner in leading venture capital funds, reinforcing his commitment to Chicago's long-term position as a hub for innovation and growth.
