Professional Experience
As Senior Managing Director, Tony Shadix leads the healthcare facilities management platform for CBRE. Tony is a certified healthcare facility manager (CHFM) with over 20 years of experience in healthcare facility operations, safety and regulatory compliance and is a trained subject matter expert in the life safety code and environment of care, Centers for Medicare Services (CMS) conditions of participation program.
Working in acute care facilities has provided Tony with experience in policy and procedure development, regulatory compliance, strategic planning, asset management, and sustainability efforts, among many others.
He has previously served as System Director of Facilities Management at AdventHealth where he developed key metrics related to compliance to regulations, cost of operations and management of staff as well as provided leadership and facilitated collaboration with the field to establish standards, polices, best practices and efficient use of resources. Prior to that, Tony served as Account Director to Rush Medical, HealthEast and as the Operations Director at Adventist Health while with JLL.
Tony also works for The Joint Commission, completing annual accreditation surveys and bringing unique insight into regulatory compliance.
