Upon graduation from the University of Oklahoma in 1985 (B.A. Journalism), Troy began his career in commercial real estate with The Westland Group in Dallas, TX focusing on office building development, project leasing and tenant representation. In 1990 Troy relocated to Tulsa, OK with Trammell Crow Company specializing in asset management for institutional owners including CAPERS (California Public Employees Retirement System). In 1995, Troy started Gudgel Properties, Inc. with a focus on commercial & residential development, construction management, brokerage, and investment sales.
Troy has earned the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and RPA (Real Property Administrator) designations. Troy is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Oklahoma. Troy’s experience in commercial real estate is broad and varied. He has completed numerous lease transactions as well as office, industrial, and land sales transactions. Development project highlights include an 18,000 SF office building (7712 S. Yale Ave.), four assisted living centers (Bartlesville, Pryor, Wagoner, and Grove, OK), commercial office park (126th & Memorial Dr., Bixby, OK), Co-developed Tracy Park II residential subdivision (26th & Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK).
He is working with Terry Payne in Capital Markets advising clients in the acquisition and disposition of office, medical office, and retail properties.
Troy and his wife Tracey were married in July 1994 and have four adult children and four grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, spending time with family & friends, golf, and have been actively involved in their church and community.
