Professional Experience
Billy Hart serves as Group President, Corporate Development. In this role, he partners with leaders across all Business Segments globally to identify M&A investment opportunities and execute CBRE’s corporate M&A strategy. Before that, he served as Group President, Advisory Services and Chief Operating Officer, Americas Advisory for CBRE. Mr. Hart is based in Los Angeles.
Prior to joining CBRE in January 2021, Mr. Hart was a Partner in Boston Consulting Group (BCG)'s Los Angeles office. He was a core member of the Real Estate Practice and played an integral role in BCG’s strategy work for CBRE. Besides real estate, he served clients in Financial Services, TMT, Private Equity, Retail and Healthcare, and worked across functional areas, including Strategy, Operations, Corporate Development, Pricing, Marketing, Finance and Transformations.
Prior to BCG, Mr. Hart worked in Baseball Operations for the New York Yankees and Investment Banking for Financial Technology Partners. Earlier, he played professional baseball in the Houston Astros organization.
He holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and earned a BS, with honors, from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. At USC, he was a member of the baseball team and the two-time national champion football team.
