Wyen Koan

Wyen Koan is a Senior Associate working within the Advisory & Transaction Services group for CBRE in Detroit, Michigan. She specializes in providing landlords, tenants, and investors with retail leasing.

Starting her CBRE career in January 2024 after spending 5 years with another Toledo Firm, Wyen offered retail shopping center leasing services in northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Her expertise in retail leasing advisory and transaction management have leveraged and maintained strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and investors.

Wyen also a proud affiliate of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). She was appointed by the CCIM Institute as a Member at Large for the International Activities and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committees of the 2023-2024 term. These roles reflect Wyen’s passion for strategic planning and promoting diversity and inclusion in the commercial real estate industry.

Wyen holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing from the University of Toledo, where she gained valuable knowledge in global markets, and cross-cultural communication, Wyen is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, which award her an edge in working with diverse clients and partners by proving multi-facet perspectives.
