Zaahir Syed

Zaahir is a Senior Managing Director and the U.S. Co-Head of Real Estate for Sera Private Funds Group at CBRE Capital Advisors. Mr. Syed is responsible for advising real estate operators and managers on capital sourcing strategies, vehicle structuring and equity placement. Mr. Syed was previously a co-Founder of Sera Global, which was acquired by CBRE in October 2023. Prior to Sera, Mr. Syed led real estate capital coverage for the Western U.S. at Lazard Private Capital Advisory, and prior to that Mr. Syed was a Principal in the Real Estate group at Blackstone.
