Zaahir is a Senior Managing Director and the U.S. Co-Head of Sera Private Funds Group at CBRE Investment Banking. Zaahir is responsible for advising real estate / real assets managers, operators and developers on capital sourcing strategies, vehicle structuring and equity placement, principally into commingled funds. Zaahir was previously a co-Founder of Sera Global, which was acquired by CBRE in October 2023. Prior to Sera, Zaahir led real estate capital coverage for the Western U.S. at Lazard Private Capital Advisory, and prior to that Zaahir was a Principal in the Real Estate group at Blackstone.
