Leading a Debt & Structured Finance team in Orlando that has closed over $9 billion in loan volume, Zac is responsible for advising clients on commercial real estate financing as well as structuring and originating various types of debt and equity transactions through capital sources that include exclusive life insurance companies, banks, CMBS conduit lenders, private equity funds, REITs, and government agencies including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/HUD.

Zac is a member of the Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York bars and has previously worked in the transactional commercial real estate department at a global law firm, at a real estate mortgage banking and brokerage firm acquired by Berkadia, and in the chief financial officer and general counsel’s office at a regional commercial real estate development company. As such, his commercial real estate experience touches on multiple disciplines in both the legal and financial fields, including ground up construction development, asset acquisition and disposition, leasing, debt and equity finance, asset valuation, third party process management, lender due diligence, and commercial/multifamily loan underwriting. Zac’s team includes his father, Jim Brumbaugh, and brother, Aaron Brumbaugh.
