A Senior Vice President in the New York City Global Advisory & Transaction Services group, Zachary focuses on representing both tenants and landlords. A diligent and accomplished broker, Zachary provides expert strategic advisory services for a diverse roster of clients. He keeps his ear to the pavement, monitoring the market for any and all fluctuations that can be used to his clients’ advantage.

Zachary is considered an expert in—and advocate of—the Downtown market, a commitment that was featured in 2018 in Real Estate Weekly’s “Downtown dealmaker bringing cutting edge companies to Lower Manhattan marketplace.”  He was a key member of the team focused on the repositioning of 44 Wall Street on behalf of EQ Office (a subsidiary of Blackstone). This Downtown Wall Street asset was historically occupied by financial and legal services firms but following its successful reposition has joined the Downtown resurgence with more than 200,000 sq. ft. leased—driven predominantly by “TAMI” sector occupiers.

Zachary is a key team member of the team representing Hines, Norges Bank, and Trinity Real Estate in the repositioning of the North Campus Portfolio in Hudson Square. During 2018 and 2019, the team successfully consummated long-term leases and strategic renewals, totaling over 1.5M sq. ft. within 345, 350 and 375 Hudson Street. Other notable deals include a 200,000-sq.-ft. lease for Cahill Gordon and a 85,000-sq.-ft. lease for Policy Genius, both at 32 Old Slip, on behalf of RXR Realty.

In addition to representing Landlords, Zachary specializes in advising many technology companies, professional services firms, and non-profit foundations in the acquisition of office space in New York City, as well as executing multi-market strategies throughout North America. In 2020, Zachary assisted The Rockefeller Foundation in strategically evaluating its New York City occupancy to enhance its 125,000-sq.-ft. owned Fifth Avenue headquarters. This study resulted in a partnership with CBRE’s Project Management group to effect a short-term 75,000-sq.-ft. relocation and a phased renovation of its footprint along with acquiring off-market expansion within its current headquarters that satisfies the current and future needs of the Foundation.

In 2014, Zachary was recognized as one of the Commercial Observer’s “30 Under 30,” joining an elite group of up-and-comers in New York’s commercial real estate industry. In addition, Zachary has been recognized on CBRE’s Market Information Honor Roll each year since 2012. Zachary is an avid supporter of numerous charity organizations, specifically having co-founded the Young Professional Committee for St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children and forming the Price Brothers Family Leadership Scholarship at the University of Maryland. Zachary is a passionate runner, and while running semi-competitively for the Brooklyn Track Club, he has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the MLT Foundation, Release Recovery Foundation, and other philanthropic organizations through marathon fundraising efforts.
