Zak Brodstein is an Associate on the Hotels Valuation & Advisory team at CBRE. Based in Denver, Zak focuses on hotel and resort transactions across the Mountain West, Midwest, and Desert Southwest regions of the U.S.
Since 2021, Zak has completed more than $2 billion in hospitality transactions, including advisory assignments and equity placements for a diverse range of clients.
Zak joined CBRE in 2025 after spending five years working for Hodges Ward Elliott in Miami, FL. Prior to that, he spent nearly five years at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel in downtown Miami, serving as both Guest Services and Housekeeping Manager. During his tenure, he led the hotel’s branding transition to IHG, oversaw a full rooms renovation, and helped the property earn the distinction of #1 hotel in Miami by Condé Nast Traveler.
