Ben Plaisted and Greg Scheipers Join CBRE’s Washington, D.C. Office

CBRE announced that Executive Vice President Ben Plaisted and Senior Vice President Greg Scheipers have joined the company’s advisory and transaction services group in Washington, D.C. Mr. Plaisted and Mr. Scheipers will specialize in advising occupier clients throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and globally.

Mr. Plaisted and Mr. Scheipers join CBRE from Savills, where they advised numerous local and national occupier clients in transactions totaling millions of square feet across a range of industries, such as legal, non-profit, government relations, financial services, technology and government contracting.

Mr. Plaisted brings over 20 years of experience to CBRE and has been a part of numerous high-profile transactions in the D.C. region. He has received several awards and accolades throughout his career, including the 2019 regional Transaction of the Year under 75,000 square feet from CREBA. In 2018, Mr. Plaisted was named the youngest co-managing director within Savills. As Co-regional manager of the Savills D.C. office, he led the firm’s advisory and business development efforts throughout the Greater Washington area, co-managing a team of over 60 brokers in the region. Ben also directed the junior broker development program at Savills, which was focused on recruiting and training diverse college graduates.

Throughout his 15-year career in commercial real estate, Greg has been a part of numerous high-profile transactions in the D.C. region. Mr. Scheipers has completed over 1.5 million square feet of transactions and nationally represented household-name companies. He joined Savills in 2011, starting as an associate director before earning several promotions and reaching the title of executive managing director.
