CBRE announced that Joey Blakley has joined its market-leading Florida multifamily capital markets team as a First Vice President. In his new role, Blakley will be based in Orlando and will focus on advising institutional and private capital clients on multifamily property transactions across Central and North Florida.

With nearly two decades of commercial real estate brokerage experience, Blakley will bring deep market knowledge and a strategic approach that will be valuable assets to clients and the team. His expertise further strengthens CBRE’s ability to advise investors in the rapidly evolving multifamily sector.

He joins CBRE’s Florida Multifamily team, led by Denny St. Romain, Jubeen Vaghefi and Robert Given, and delivers integrated capital markets advisory services including multifamily sales, structured debt and equity finance and land development sales across the State of Florida. Blakley previously served as Senior Director with the Multifamily Advisory Group at Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at Foundry Commercial.

“Joey’s addition to our Florida Multifamily team underscores our commitment to providing unparalleled expertise to our clients,” said St. Romain, Vice Chairman at CBRE.

“His proven performance and strong relationships across Central Florida will be invaluable as we advise our clients on how best to execute their business plans across the state,” said Vaghefi, Vice Chairman at CBRE.

Throughout his career, Blakley has executed more than 300 transactions across multifamily, land, office, retail, industrial and mixed-use assets, with experience guiding clients through entitlement, redevelopment and complex disposition strategies. His broad transactional background, extensive market knowledge and relationship-driven approach enable him to leverage CBRE’s data, capital markets platform and global reach to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients.

"Central Florida continues to attract institutional capital because of its population and employment growth drivers," said Blakley. "CBRE's scale, research and investor reach create a compelling platform for advising clients on pricing, timing and execution. I'm excited to bring my experience to the team and help clients capitalize on opportunities in the Orlando market and beyond."
