CBRE Appoints Chris Masotto as Property Management Market Leader for New York, Long Island and Southern Connecticut

CBRE announced today that Chris Masotto has joined the firm as Property Management Market Leader for New York, Long Island and Southern Connecticut. He replaces Tom Lloyd, who was previously promoted to Property Management Northeast Division Leader.

In this role, Masotto will lead our local team of property management professionals overseeing office, retail, industrial, and life science assets within the portfolio. He will be responsible for client satisfaction, portfolio growth, financial performance, and talent development, with a focus on delivering consistent client outcomes and strengthening the firm’s Property Management business across the region.

Masotto joins CBRE from Cannon Hill Capital Partners, where he served as Principal and Head of Property Management. In that role, he oversaw a 10 million square foot portfolio and was a member of the firm’s senior leadership and investment committee. His responsibilities included property management strategy, third party management relationships, capital projects oversight, environmental, social, and governance initiatives, and team development.

Prior to Cannon Hill Capital Partners, Masotto held senior property management leadership roles at Columbia Property Trust, Normandy Real Estate Partners, and Newmark. His experience includes managing and redeveloping large, complex office, mixed use, and retail portfolios across New York City and the surrounding region, with a focus on redevelopment, capital planning, and operational execution.
