CBRE Appoints Laura Barr to Lead Americas Retail Leasing

CBRE announced today that it has appointed industry veteran Laura Barr as Americas Retail Leader for its Advisory & Transaction Services line of business. In this role, Ms. Barr is responsible for CBRE’s Retail leasing growth strategy and client delivery across the firm's Retail leasing professionals, who were responsible for more than $11.1 billion in transactions in 2022.

For the past decade, Ms. Barr has been a trusted Retail leader within CBRE’s San Francisco office, where she built a world-class Retail team, including occupier leasing, institutional agency leasing and consulting. She is an established thought leader and advisor to numerous investor and occupier clients, consistently delivering innovative solutions.

She has served in numerous leadership positions, including sitting on the Americas Producer Advisory Board; co-chairing the Futures Committee, which produced compelling research on the impact of autonomous vehicles on real estate values; and remains involved in the CBRE Women’s Network as a Business Line Cohort leader.
