CBRE Arranges $112 Million Sale of Lynnwood, Washington Apartment Community

CBRE represented Weidner Apartment Homes in the sale of A'Cappella Apartment Homes, a 387-unit multifamily community in Lynnwood, Washington, for $112 million. Kyle Yamamoto, Eli Hanacek and Natalie Kasper of CBRE's Pacific Northwest Multifamily team represented the seller.

Built in 1989, A'Cappella is located at 15001 35th Ave. W and was recently renovated with updated unit interior finishes and common area improvements. The community was 95% occupied at the time of sale.

"A'Cappella's scale and recent renovation made it a rare offering in a submarket where large, institutional-quality assets rarely trade," said Yamamoto. "Its pivot-point location to major employment centers including Boeing, the Eastside, and downtown Seattle provided buyers the confidence in the property's long-term performance."

The sale reflects sustained investor interest in Lynnwood's multifamily market, where demographics remain strong and supply has remained constrained: only one project of more than 100 units was under construction within a five-mile radius of the property as of early 2026. Lynnwood sits at the northern terminus of Sound Transit's Link light rail, which opened in August 2024 and connects residents to Seattle, SeaTac and the Eastside, while nearby employers anchor the submarket's job base.
