CBRE Arranges 22,104 Square Foot Retail Anchor Lease in Chicago Suburbs

CBRE has arranged a 22,104 square foot retail anchor lease 980 S Barrington Road in Streamwood, IL. Burlington has signed a new lease and will occupy the space later this year. The lease brings a previously vacant 81,000 square foot building to full occupancy.

The building Burlington will occupy was previously entirely occupied by Value City Furniture. The property was subsequently split into three units, with the CBRE team arranging two other leases with Aldi (23,589 square feet) and Ollie’s (33,000 square feet).

CBRE’s Joe Parrott and Sean McCourt represented building ownership, Diehl, LLC, in the transactions.

The building is located within Westview Center, a 350,000 square foot power center with tenants including Tony’s Fresh Market, dd's Discounts, and Esporta by LA Fitness.

“Burlington is a tremendous fit for Westview Center, and we are pleased they will occupy the remaining anchor space,” said Parrott. “The area’s significant customer traffic and strong demographics were key to filling this previously vacant building.”
