CBRE Arranges 36,130-SF Lease for JBT Aerotech Corporation in Roy, Utah

CBRE has arranged a 36,130-square-foot lease for JBT Aerotech Corporation at 4074 S. 1900 W., an office building in Roy. The aerospace company will expand into the northern Utah region and move into its new location in August.

CBRE’s Scott Wilmarth and Dylan White represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

"It was a rewarding experience to help identify JBT Aerotech's new location,” said White. “JBT Aerotech is a global company, with a presence in over 25 countries and more than 7,200 employees. The company will be a great addition to Roy and the surrounding region.”

According to CBRE Research, lease activity in the Salt Lake-Provo office market decreased 10.4% year-over-year in 2022, suggesting a slowdown in the market. Despite the economic headwinds, Q4 2022 saw 196,272 square feet of positive net absorption, while 619,278 square feet of construction is currently underway.
