CBRE has arranged a new 4,083 square foot lease within 737 North Michigan Ave with the Consulate of Bulgaria. The new space will double the previous footprint of the Consulate.
CBRE’s Mike Kazmierczak and Lauren Hedstrom represented 737 North Michigan in the transaction, while Yana Georgiev from Charles Rutenberg Realty of IL represented the Consulate of Bulgaria.
“I am pleased to announce that we have signed a new contract with CBRE for the future office of the Consulate General of Bulgaria in Chicago,” said Svetoslav Stankov, Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Chicago. “This new office will greatly benefit the Bulgarian community by providing a larger waiting area, an additional registry, as well as space for diplomatic and cultural events.”
737 North Michigan is a 63-story building with 335,190 square feet of Class A office space located on Chicago’s iconic Magnificent Mile. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the building features a distinctive curved façade with floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping city views.
