CBRE today announced the successful sale of 660 North Wells Street, a 13,125-square-foot retail property located in the heart of Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The property was acquired by an international buyer, Azora Private Solutions, in a transaction that closed on October 22, 22025. This sale marks the building’s first change in ownership in over four decades.

CBRE’s Dominic Soltero and Tom Svoboda represented the private seller in the transaction.

Positioned at the corner of Wells and Erie Streets, the three-story building is home to the first Hooters restaurant in the Chicagoland area.

“This transaction represented a rare opportunity to acquire a legacy asset in one of Chicago’s most dynamic submarkets,” said Soltero. “The strong investor interest we saw in the property underscores the strength of Chicago’s urban retail market and the enduring appeal of River North.”
