CBRE announced that Mark Roddy has joined as Vice President in Tacoma. He specializes in the leasing and sale of industrial properties in Puget Sound.

The Tacoma/Fife submarket recorded the highest net absorption across the Puget Sound region in Q2 2024, according to CBRE Research. Net absorption, a proxy for tenant demand measures the net amount of space newly occupied versus newly vacated. “Mark is a tenured, well-respected professional within the industry and we’re excited to have him join the team. His experience working for one of the largest institutional investors in the country will be a great asset to our industrial team and clients,” said John R. Miller, Executive Managing Director for the Pacific Northwest and Market Leader for the Greater Seattle region.

Mr. Roddy spent nearly 13 years at Prologis and was most recently a senior leasing manager, where he led and executed leasing transactions, as well as assisted with acquisitions and dispositions of investment properties.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, management and operation from Washington State University.
