CBRE has earned a place in The Billion Dollar Roundtable Inc. (BDR), joining an elite group of U.S.-based corporations that have attained $1 billion or more annually in Tier 1 supply-chain spend with diverse suppliers. CBRE is the only commercial real estate company in the BDR.

CBRE manages extensive supply chains for its own operations as well as for its global client base, representing one of the largest third-party spends in the commercial real estate industry.

In 2020, CBRE pledged to spend at least $1 billion per year with diverse suppliers and to increase its annual spend to at least $3 billion by the end of 2025. In 2023, CBRE spent more than $2.2 billion with diverse suppliers, including those that are certified as owned by underrepresented groups, including racial and ethnic minorities, women, Indigenous people, service veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and people with disabilities.

“We firmly believe that conducting and expanding our business in ways that foster positive, scalable impact in the places we live and work is not just a responsibility, but a vital opportunity to create lasting change,” said Adam Weers, CBRE’s Chief Transformation Officer. “By intentionally seeking out and partnering with diverse suppliers, we not only drive innovation and competitiveness but also contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable business landscape that benefits everyone involved.”

CBRE joins these major U.S.-based corporations as member companies of the BDR: Abbott, Adient, Amazon, Apple, AT&T, Avis Budget Group, Bank of America, Boeing, Bristol Myers Squibb, Caterpillar, CDW, Citi, Coca-Cola, Comcast NBCUniversal, Cummins, CVS Health, Dell, Duke Energy, Entergy, Exelon, Exxon Mobil, Ford, General Motors, Google, Honda North America, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, JPMorgan Chase, Kaiser Permanente, Kroger, Medtronic, Merck, Meta Platforms, Microsoft, Pacific Gas and Electric, Procter & Gamble, Stellantis, The Home Depot, T-Mobile, Toyota North America, Verizon and Walmart.
