CBRE announced today that Brandon Rawlins and Vicente Cantua have joined the firm’s Salt Lake City office, strengthening its industrial and capital markets capabilities across the region.

Rawlins joins CBRE as a Senior Vice President in the firm’s industrial services line. He brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience and most recently served as the principal broker for JLL’s Boise office. Throughout his career, Rawlins has overseen retail, office, industrial and multifamily developments and has advised clients on site selection, strategy and portfolio planning. He holds broker’s licenses in Idaho, Utah, Montana and Nevada.

Cantua joins CBRE as a Vice President, specializing in private capital multifamily sales. He brings experience across Arizona and Utah, where he has built a track record of consistent production and client advisory work. Cantua previously ranked among the top producers in Cushman & Wakefield’s Salt Lake City office and relocated to Utah in 2019 to expand his capital markets practice.

“Brandon and Vicente bring deep regional knowledge and strong client relationships that will help us meet growing demand in Salt Lake City and the broader Intermountain West,” said Erin Laney Barr, managing director and market leader, CBRE Salt Lake City. “Their experience across industrial and capital markets enhances our ability to serve a wide range of investors and occupiers in this high‑growth market.”

Rawlins began his commercial real estate career in 2002 with Smoot Commercial Brokers in Davis County, Utah, where he served as executive vice president and principal broker overseeing the commercial division. He later joined NAI West Commercial Real Estate, where he earned recognition for leading the office in total transactions. Rawlins was recruited by JLL in 2012 to help establish the firm’s Utah presence and has since advised clients on site selection, strategy and portfolio planning.

Cantua is a third‑generation real estate professional and a graduate of the University of Arizona, where he earned a degree in regional development. His previous experience includes multifamily investment sales, prospecting and market expansion efforts across Arizona and Utah. He remains active in community support initiatives in both states.
